Holy Cow
This is a great book by sarah macdonald. This Australian writes about time spent in India and her quest for 'the truth". She travels throughout India learning and practicing various ways to God..vipassna, buddhism, sai baba of banglore, sikkhism, christianity, maa amrutmaey,........
The last time i read this book I had a question in my mind ..which path will she follow.....i hope she finds the answer in Hinduism...this time round..i just didnt care........because i have realised what she has also realised..it really dosen't matter.

hi sugan, you are absolutely right about the in-your face attitude.
I believe ,if you have to live in india you have to learn to see withought seeing, pretend something dosent exsist, westeners may call it apathy and we call it exsistence.
once you learn this art , india becomes the most beautiful and fun place to live.
